Hi Guys Well through the week you would have all received a note about the importance for actors to be INFORMED! And I babbled on about being committed to helping actors get the right information to help their careers and to help them not get ripped off. REMEMBER: I WILL save the world, I WILL rectify this knowledge black hole for my readers and I WILL help everyone get as far as they can or want to go as an actor. I will not stop until I am sure that everyone has the info, knows how to work the system and sends me perfect e-pitches on our next round of auditions. Well, moving forward on that promise, I have 2 huge pieces of news to report. 1. There is a NEW TV SERIES BEING FILMED ON THE GOLD COAST and I am working hard during the pre casting process to help find all the available talent on the Gold Coast. So we have an open day "Go See" for the Series on Tuesday and I want every single Gold Coast/Brisbane QOS reader - and their friends there. I will shoot you out the details tomorrow. 2. WHO IS THE HOTTEST AUSSIE ACTOR AROUND Yes you got it right, we have an interview with Ditch Davey, currently appearing in the hot new series of Sea Patrol. He is on the call and telling it straight. Did you know that in between Police Files -Unlocked and Sea Patrol, he was doing an independant low budget feature and a VCA student film. YES - TRUE ! Now this is an actor who spent years on Blue Heelers. Every actor does short films! It is a must to learn the ropes and then keep those acting muscles exercised. Ditch has some great tips on how he prepares for auditions. Very worthwhile listening to the interview. He is an amazing actor and very generous with tips and advice. The link is below.
