Hi Guys

New info on a new Aussie feature film starting filming next week callede "I Love You Too"
The new Aussie Feature Film commences filming in Melbourne next month.

"I Love You Too" is a romantic comedy about a commitment-phobic man-about-town and a gifted New Age dwarf, who go on a quest to win the women they love.

Written by comedian Peter Helliar and from the producers of Summer Heights High, "I Love You Too" is a story about the meaning of relationships, the importance of male friendship and having the courage to pursue the one you love.
The lead role is being played by Brendan Cowell and he is joined by; former McLeod's Daughters star Bridie Carter, Travis McMahon (Kokoda, Good Guys Bad Guys, Last Man Standing) and Steve Bisley (Water Rats, Sea Patrol, The Big Steal) and model Megan Gale is featured inher first Australian Feature Film Appearance.

Great news for Vic actors/Extras.
Filming goes for 6 weeks.
-------------------------------------------------------

Here is a Q&A Fav for the week:

Hi Lee,
I am ready with new headshots & a showreel to start approaching agents, seeking representation. Is it appropriate/acceptable to email with attached photo & a link to showreel on video.com? Also, is it ok to include both a headshot & a full length shot? Any info would be great.
Thanks so much,
K

Hi K
I would like to say there are rules for headshots etc, but each agent will accept or reject an application depending on your look and experience and how that fits in with the talent that they currently have on their books.

I would not email though, you are definitely best to ring, see if they have open books at the moment, some don't. Also, find out what they charge, if they answer their phone (if they don't, then maybe they are only agenting
part time).
You need to ask them how long they have been in business, don't go with anyone who has not been around for over 6 years.

Also, some agents might want show reels, others don't - it depends on the type of actors that they represent. You defiantly need to be calling and making appointments, rather then just random emailing.

Hope that helps.
Lee
-----------------------------------------------------

Have a great weekend folks.

Cheers
Lee

An Englishman, an Irishman and an American walk into Beirut .... and keep each other alive with wit, imagination and compassion.

SOMEONE WHO'LL WATCH OVER ME
By Frank McGuinness

This highly acclaimed play was inspired by McGuiness' conversations with Brian Keenan who, in 1986 was abducted on his way to work at the American University of Beirut.

"Hilariously funny as well as moving.a wise and wonderful play" The Guardian
" .more Beckett than Costa-Gavras.Instead of exploiting a real-life tragedy to bring a spurious journalistic reality to the stage, Mr McGuinness uses his premise as a springboard for imagining the fantasies, jokes and spiritual credos with which ordinary men might somehow survive barbaric incarceration." The New York Times.
