I am flat out doing the new round of submissions for Neighbours, and also a major new musical production that is gearing up to audition in Melbourne and Sydney. Congratulations to Andy and Glenn who did 2 days on the feature film, Sisters of War up on the Gold Coast this week. The call went out for Japanese soldiers and they responded asap. It was all rush rush and ridiculous lead times but that is the way extras casting goes. Also congrats to QOS actor Susie Osment who landed a role on the new Aussie Tourism commercial. I landed a role in the same TVC and look forward to seeing everyone "on set" for a 10 hr shoot this Sunday. I am so proud to be part of this fabulous campaign. Auditions were a couple of weeks ago and the casting director contacted my agent, so then my agent contacted me. I went down to Sydney to audition and landed the role. I was instructed to dress in character and certainly got some looks as I was walking up the street to the auditions. We also had to sing at the audition which was a new challange for me - but I must have not been too "off key"..lol. QOS Talent Agency I have now closed registration for our Agency. I have so many applications to get through - it takes so long. If you have filled in an application - don't worry, I have your info on file and am working with it and will get back to you. Abbie - Short Film- Lead Role & Support - Short FIlm - 9 April 2010 Sydney,NSW ABBIE - LEAD ROLE - Abbie, the protagonist of the film is the epitome of childish idealism and naivety. All her mannerisms are childlike and exaggerated. She is sensitive, driven by her emotions and impulses. THE BOSS - SUPPORTING ROLE - The Boss, a forty-odd year old man is the antagonist of the film. He is motivated by order, system and monotony. He is always grumpy, and his mannerisms are hard, abrupt and fast. There is never one inch of his body that is relaxed.
