QUIET ON SET EXCLUSIVE! I have just been contacted by the casting department at Southern Star. The "DIY reality TV show is back and they are calling for entrants. They are looking for Sydneysiders who love to renovate and the bonus is: you get $5000 to $10000 to do a room in YOUR OWN HOME!!! This show is looking for real people and you get to bring a friend, a mate, or a family member to make up your 2 man team. Who know's - this could be your leap into TV presenting, you might get picked up by one of the shows as a new renovating talent! The possibilities from this show are endless!! We hope to find people who are keen amateur renovators/decorators/DIYers - real people who are willing to wield a paintbrush and give it a go! $5000-$10000 budget - do a room in YOUR OWN HOME!!!!! Plus $10 000 in prizes. Grab a friend, a mate or a family member! The difference with this show is that the participants do the makeover themselves in their own homes. There needs to be 2 people to do the makeover - they can be a couple, friends or family. We will provide the budget for the makeover- approx. $5,000 - $10,000, and they get a time limit of 3 days to complete the makeover. There's also the chance to win a $10,000 cash prize in each show. He is motivated by order, system and monotony. He is always grumpy, and his mannerisms are hard, abrupt and fast. There is never one inch of his body that is relaxed.
